Establish prayer and give zakah and obey the Messenger, that you may receive mercy.

And perform prayer to perfection, give Zakat on your wealth and obey the Messenger in whatever he commands you with, together with leaving whatever he prevents you from, in the hope that you shall be safe from your fears and be successful in your objectives.
The plain meaning, from Al-Mukhtasar fi at-Tafsir
وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
And establish prayer and give zakāh and obey the Messenger - that you may receive mercy.
What does Quran 24:56 mean?
Surah an-Nur legislates some of the hardest matters in the Qur’an — accusation, slander, the manners of entering a home — and this verse sits among them as the summary. Three things are joined: the prayer, the zakah, and following the Messenger. The stated aim is not success or safety but mercy, and it is put as a hope rather than a guarantee.
