“The most beloved deed to Allah is the most regular and constant even if it were little.”

Narrated by ‘A’ishah, who described the Prophet’s own practice with a single word: his deeds were constant. The point the scholars draw from it is a corrective to enthusiasm — a small act kept up outlasts a large one abandoned, and the standard being praised is not intensity but the refusal to stop.
