Whoever knocks at the door persistently will enter.
Arabic proverb
“Whoever knocks at the door persistently will enter.”
What does Arabic proverb mean?
A classical Arabic saying about persistence, and the Arabic makes the whole thing hinge on one word — the knocking has to be repeated. It sits close to what the Sunnah says about supplication: the prayer of one of you is answered as long as he is not impatient, saying “I prayed and was not answered.”
