Indeed, your Lord is full of forgiveness for people despite their wrongdoing.

The idolaters ask you, O Messenger, to bring on the punishment and they enquire as to why it is taking so long to come on them before they completely enjoy the favours that Allah has decreed for them. Many such punishments have come before on people like them from the nations who disbelieved. Why do they not take a lesson from them?
The plain meaning, from Al-Mukhtasar fi at-Tafsir
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِمُ ٱلْمَثُلَٰتُ ۗ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ لِّلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ ظُلْمِهِمْ ۖ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَشَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ
They impatiently urge you to bring about evil before good, while there has already occurred before them similar punishments to what they demand. And indeed, your Lord is the possessor of forgiveness for the people despite their wrongdoing, and indeed, your Lord is severe in penalty.
What does Quran 13:6 mean?
This is an answer to people demanding that the punishment be brought forward — asking for the harm before the good, as the verse puts it. The reply explains the delay they were mocking: it is forgiveness, and the room it leaves for turning back. The same verse ends by saying He is also severe in punishment, so the patience described is not indifference.
