And it is He who accepts repentance from His servants and pardons misdeeds.
Quran 42:25
Quran 42:25

“And it is He who accepts repentance from His servants and pardons misdeeds.”

He, (may He be glorified), is the One Who accepts the repentance of His servants from disbelief and sins when they repent to Him. He overlooks the wrongdoings that they committed. He knows everything that you do. Nothing of your actions are hidden from Him and He will give you the recompense for them.

The explanation

What does Quran 42:25 mean?

Surah ash-Shura places this among a list of what Allah does for those who turn to Him, and the verse right after it continues the thought: He answers those who believe and do good, and gives them more from His bounty. The commentators note the reach of the acceptance described here — it takes in disbelief itself, when the one who held it turns back.
