What does Quran 85:14 mean?
Surah al-Buruj was revealed about believers who were burned alive in a trench for refusing to give up their faith. The surah describes the punishment awaiting those who did it, and then names Allah as al-Wadud — the Affectionate, the one who loves. Placing that name in this surah is the point: it is said where it would be hardest to say.
